Sissie has more than 30 years of Human Resources Management experience in non-profit and for-profit organizations. Sissie is a servant-leader who encourages diversity and trust, employee development and engagement, and maintains expertise in all Human Capital Management disciplines. She is experienced in setting up and enhancing HR systems from the ground up.

Before joining Futuro Health, Sissie’s prior roles included HR Director for Dr. Seuss Enterprises, a leading global children’s entertainment company focused on promoting literacy and education; HR Director for Corelation, Inc., an innovative financial software development company; and VP of HR at Miramar Federal Credit Union whose mission was to provide financial support and literacy to the members and families of the Armed Forces and the underserved communities in San Diego. While at Corelation, Sissie contributed to building a balanced workplace culture which resulted in their achieving the San Diego Top Workplaces Excellence Award for three years in a row.

Before migrating to the US, Sissie attended the University of the Philippines on a scholarship, majoring in Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies (Pre-Law).  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management degree from the University of Phoenix, through an employer-provided educational assistance program. Sissie holds credentials as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
