Associate Program Manager, Pharmacy Services Pathways
Crystal is a member of Texas Women’s University Alumni and University of Florida Alumni with more than twenty years of experience as a Healthcare Professional. Crystal has been teaching in post-secondary education for the past five years in Health Science/Career Technology Education. She taught Forensic Science, Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology, Microbiology, Pharmacy Technician Practicum, and Phlebotomy Technician Practicum. Crystal has an extensive background in healthcare and working knowledge of the healthcare industry because she has worked in various healthcare settings from retail pharmacy, emergency room scribe, clinical pharmacy and even taught a pharmacy technician program at a technical school. She has been a Certified Pharmacy Technician for over twenty years and a Certified Phlebotomy Technician for twelve years. She has been running her CPR business since 2016 and has grown into a training center.
Crystal’s love of pharmacy pushed her to pursue a master’s degree through University of Florida where she obtained her Master of Science in Pharmacy. She has always had a passion for pharmacy and helping others find their way in life with obtaining certification as a pharmacy technician. She had an 80% pass rate for her students who took the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. Crystal looks forward to enriching the lives of the students in this program and ensuring their success not just with the certification but with their career in pharmacy.
