Laneay L. is a dedicated mental health workforce strategist with over 20 years of experience advancing equity-focused initiatives across higher education, workforce policy, and the nonprofit sector. Her career has centered on expanding access to behavioral health careers, strengthening workforce capacity, and promoting mental health literacy. From developing national strategies to guiding local partnerships, Laneay has played a key role in addressing behavioral health workforce shortages and driving inclusive, community-rooted solutions.
 
As the Senior Manager of the Mental and Behavioral Health Portfolio at Futuro Health, Laneay leads the design and execution of initiatives that expand and diversify the behavioral health talent pipeline. She manages cross-sector collaborations, directs program development and evaluation, and works closely with employers, academic institutions, and community-based organizations to build a culturally responsive workforce equipped to meet the growing demand for mental health services. Laneay holds a Master of Social Work with a concentration in mental health and brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her leadership.
