Max’s academic journey began with studying Medical Technology (B.Sc), followed by completing his Medical Education (FMG), Community Health Education (M.Ed), Nursing (BSN/MSN), and finally a PhD in Education. In addition to his medical and clinical background, Max is an academically trained Nurse Administrator in areas that include acute care, long-term, and rehabilitative care, and assisted living.

Prior to that Max worked as an Oncology Research Nurse and Infection Prevention and Control Nurse and has taught courses in Nursing and Allied Health for the past 20 years at undergraduate and graduate levels, including pathophysiology, pharmacology, health assessment, healthcare management, qualitative research methods, advanced data analysis, complementary and integrative medicine.
