Alan York has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience. Focusing on talent acquisition and workforce planning in healthcare settings, Alan has served as Director of Talent Acquisition at Mayo Clinic, Fairview Health Services, and Trinity Health, as well as other hospital systems across the country.
Alan enjoys building relationships and working as a team to drive projects to successful conclusions. In his previous roles, he has redesigned talent acquisition systems, developed advanced data analysis and reporting tools, utilized innovative technology to improve performance metrics, and supported new methods to enhance outreach efforts and streamline candidate placement processes.
Alan holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University, St. Paul, MN, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, River Falls, WI.
In his current role, Alan is responsible for job placement for Futuro Health Scholars, expanding hiring partnerships, and preparing scholars for exciting employment opportunities. He conducts labor market analyses for assigned projects and employer network growth opportunities to gain insights into job needs, trends, and the healthcare employer landscape. This information allows Alan to keep projects and processes fresh and forward-thinking, further strengthening his ability to provide effective and efficient models and methods to improve the performance of Futuro Health and its partners.
