Futuro Health partners with a variety of healthcare, education, philanthropy, and government organizations to offer and equip Scholars with the training needed for a successful career in healthcare.

Scholars can qualify for scholarships.

Scholarships are available! If you are selected, you could attend for no or low cost. Since our launch in 2020, we have enrolled over 16,422 adults into healthcare career programs and courses.

GUIDED EDUCATION PROGRAMS WITH FLEXIBLE COURSE PATHWAYS.

Before registering, each Scholar meets with an Enrollment Advisor to review their education journey. Scholars are then paired with a Success Coach who provides individualized support throughout the technical education program.

EDUCATION WITH AN EDGE.

Build confidence and readiness to hit the ground running in your new role. All Scholars complete our Human Touch Healthcare™ course prior to the technical portion of their education to equip them with the interpersonal skills needed to work in a variety of healthcare settings.

Patricia F.

FUTURO HEALTH SCHOLAR

MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM

Born and raised in the Phillipines, Patricia always wanted to become a doctor. As a child, she practiced being a medical professional with her grandfather, who encouraged her to pursue her dreams and go to school. After a friend told her about Futuro Health, Patricia enrolled in the Medical Assisting program. Through Futuro Health’s prerequisite course, Human Touch Healthcare, Patricia learned how to make her patients feel seen and heard, a valuable skill that she carries into her work today. After completing her two months of externship, Patricia is now working as a Certified Medical Assistant at Palos Verdes Medical Group.

Daryl B.

FUTURO HEALTH SCHOLAR

Peer Support Specialist Program

Now the President and Executive Director of Reintegration Services, a nonprofit in California, Daryl went to the Marine Corps when he was eighteen years old where he served at Camp Lejeune and unknowingly consumed chemically contaminated drinking water. Following his service in the Marine Corps, Daryl began using drugs and ended up in prison. While in prison, he sought out opportunities to help others, in turn, enabling him to help himself. When he heard about Futuro Health’s Peer Support Specialist Program from a fellow ex-convict at the Veterans Transition Center, Daryl knew he wanted to pursue the credential to empower him to help more people through his nonprofit. “The people who I hire, I will send them to Futuro Health’s Peer Support Specialist Program.”

FUTURO HEALTH SCHOLAR

Medical Assistant Program

Since she was young, Katherin has always wanted to be a medical examiner, a role she first saw in action on the procedural dramas she grew up watching with her grandmother. Growing up in Miami, Florida, Katherin has been working both outside the home and as a caretaker to her mother and grandmother since she was fourteen years old. When Katherin decided to launch a career in healthcare, she sought a debt-free option, and when she found Futuro Health, she knew it was the right choice for her.

Medical Assistant Program

While working at a local dental clinic, Denise came across flyers highlighting a range of tuition-free training programs offered through Futuro Health. With a lifelong passion for working in healthcare, Denise explored Futuro Health’s website and embarked on a journey toward her dream career of caring for others. After successfully graduating from Futuro Health’s Medical Assistant Program, Denise secured a position as a Care Coordination Assistant at Dignity Health, where she is currently thriving. Her aspiration is to become a Registered Nurse, specializing in Labor and Delivery or the NICU.
