Monique’s career journey began in the restaurant industry as a teenager, where she built a foundation in service, communication, and connecting with people. From there, she navigated her way into administrative roles before deciding to return to school, knowing that earning a degree could open the door to a better quality of life. While earning her degree in Psychology, she began working in career services as an Externship Coordinator. It was there that Monique discovered a passion for helping adult learners recognize their potential, overcome barriers, and move toward meaningful career opportunities. After graduation, she explored alternative career paths, ultimately making her way back to higher education and career services, where she found purposeful work empowering people to learn, grow, and evolve.

Over the past eight years, Monique has remained committed to putting the learner first—helping them build confidence, navigate challenges, and turn their goals into real, measurable outcomes. She enjoys sitting at the intersection of human behavior, education, and employment, drawing on her background in psychology to understand motivation and the factors that influence a learner’s journey. She’s excited to bring that student-centered approach to her role at Futuro Health, contributing to a mission centered on creating meaningful pathways to education, career growth, and opportunity. Monique believes that when we meet people where they are, help them see what’s possible, and give them the tools to move forward, we don’t just change careers—we change lives.
