Mia has spent more than three years supporting students as they navigate educational opportunities, application requirements, career exploration, and enrollment processes. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with underrepresented and non-traditional learners, helping them identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and take meaningful steps toward brighter futures. Through personalized outreach and student-centered support, Mia has developed a passion for building genuine connections and creating positive experiences for every student she serves.

She believes that every learner’s journey is unique and that success looks different for everyone. Mia is passionate about meeting students where they are, understanding the challenges they may be facing, and helping them find a path forward with confidence. By creating a welcoming and supportive environment, she encourages students to ask questions, advocate for themselves, and make informed decisions about their education and career goals.

At Futuro Health, Mia is excited to support Scholars as they begin their healthcare education journey. She looks forward to helping students navigate enrollment, work through barriers, and access opportunities that can lead to meaningful and rewarding careers. She is inspired by Futuro Health’s mission to expand access to education and believes that empowering learners through guidance and support can create lasting change for individuals, families, and communities.

Mia earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Riverside, and holds certifications through NCAN and NASPA. Outside of work, she enjoys handicrafts, collecting unique trinkets and knickknacks, listening to music, and spending time playing video games. She is always looking for new creative projects, opportunities to learn, and ways to connect with others through shared interests and experiences.
