Marisa V.
Instructor, Human Touch Healthcare
Marisa brings over five years of experience working directly with clients and their families to create sustainable, healthy changes in behavioral patterns and to strengthen family dynamics.
During her graduate studies at Capella University, she spent two years working with children diagnosed with autism and their families as a Behavioral Analyst in Training and Registered Behavior Technician. This experience provided Marisa a strong foundation in evidence-based interventions and individualized care.
Marisa later transitioned into the children’s mental health field, applying her background in behavior analysis in settings including a local mental health authority, a school environment, and a Multi-Systemic Therapist.
While earning her bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Marisa also worked as a medical scribe and a registered pharmacy technician. These roles gave her valuable insight into the healthcare system and reinforced the importance of compassionate, patient centered care.
In her free time, Marisa enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and playing golf.
