Derick has over 20 years of international academic advisory experience in secondary/tertiary academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and the UN. He has successfully advised and mentored US, Asian, and African scholars in achieving educational and professional goals. Having transitioned through different professional careers, he understands the importance of managing change to achieve success. His passion for coaching is sustained by his resilience in overcoming difficult challenges and adapting to different cultures. He takes pride in his experience with Futuro Health which motivates him to support others in looking towards the future and embracing new opportunities.

Derick obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Peace and Development from the Protestant University of Central Africa. He is an alumnus of Futuro Health where he obtained the Customer Service Paraprofessional and Foundations of Telehealth certificates.
