Austin served as a business analyst for the Judicial Council of California (JCC) and as the Director of Data Science for Educational Results Partnership (ERP). During his time at the JCC, Austin modernized aging data infrastructure systems and served as a liaison between the research arm of the JCC and the California courts. At ERP, Austin managed the data science department that developed a variety of data dashboards for the California Community Colleges.
Austin has a bachelor’s degree in statistics from the University of California Davis and a master’s degree of data science from the City University of New York.
