As the coronavirus continues to pound the nation, the NY Times reports there are enough ventilators to support the pandemic, and there are not nearly enough healthcare professionals trained to operate the machines and provide round-the-clock care for patients who cannot breathe on their own.
Given this critical situation, there is no doubt the scope of work may expand for healthcare workers on the frontline as the pandemic surges.

How to prepare for a move from subacute (clinics, nursing homes) to an acute setting (hospitals, emergency rooms, triage centers). |

Caring for patients on ventilators; operating respiratory equipment. |

Managing stress and increasing resiliency for healthcare workers. |
