Sarah comes to Futuro Health with robust professional experience in project oversight and grant management, most notably serving as Program Administrator for the NASA University Leadership Initiative at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Technical Assistance Provider for Logistics of the Doing What Matters workforce development initiative at the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. Sarah has a track record of implementing organizational strategies that move projects forward, including oversight of the collaborative efforts of hundreds of expert educators striving to identify and execute best practices in career education programming across the California Community College System, the nation’s largest and most diverse higher education system.
Sarah received her master’s degree from Loyola Marymount University in Higher Education Administration with focused study on pathways for career education students. Her degree culminated in the submission of a draft proposal for scalable alumni program design for career education program completers and serves as the cornerstone of her professional mission to create equitable pathway programming for adult learners engaged in non-degree educational programs.
