The Pandemic Readiness Course for LVN/LPNs is self-paced and fully online. There is no required timeline for completion. The training developed by Pima Medical Institute consists of 5 subject. All five subjects are estimated to take a total of 5-6 hours to complete.
The coursework portion of the Medical Assistant Program is designed to be completed in 10 months, followed by the clinical experience which will take 5 additional weeks.
Yes, all students will need regular access to a computer and high-speed internet. Your computer will need at least a 2GHz processor or faster, 4 GB RAM or more, built-in or external speakers, USB 2.0 port or adaptor, a webcam supported operating system, Windows 7 or higher, or MacOS Sierra 10.12 or higher.
To be most successful in the Medical Assistant and Care Coordinator Programs, we recommend 3+ hours per day of study.
